Jill Tierney MD

Dr. Jill Tierney has practiced in the Annapolis/Kent Island area for more than 15 years.  She grew up in Scranton, Pennsylvania and then took a tour of Pennsylvania for her education.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine.  Dr. Tierney then decided to head south for her Pediatric residency program at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.  She moved to Annapolis to start her Pediatric career and has loved being a part of this community. 

Dr. Tierney enjoys spending time outside with her family.  She likes to run, kayak, and walk the family rescue dog, Bo.  Dr. Tierney’s favorite place is to be by the water, and she especially likes taking vacations to the beach.  She looks forward to sharing all the wonderful outdoor places in Maryland with her new daughter.

Dr. Tierney is thrilled to be back practicing on Kent Island and is excited to be part of the Bay Area Pediatrics family.
