UPDATED COVID-19 OFFICE POLICY AS OF MARCH 24, 2020

3/24/2020

In line with other measures taken to protect our staff and patients and to limit the transmission of COVID-19, starting Tuesday, March 24 and until further notice, we will limit all ambulatory in-office appointments to urgent patients requiring a physical exam only. We will shift all other routine visits to telemedicine visits or we’ll reschedule. Our office will remain open to staff but not the public. This way we can continue to receive calls, triage the needs of patients and providers and answer all requests and messages from the patient portal.

***THIS OFFICE DOES NOT HAVE THE COVID-19 TEST OR THE PROTECTIVE GEAR TO PROTECT OUR STAFF AND PATIENTS FROM THE VIRUS***

In order to protect our staff and patients, any patient who has had international travel, including a cruise, or suspects they have been exposed to the COVID-19 and/or is experiencing flu-like symptoms including cough, fever and respiratory issues should not enter our office without having been given an appointment.

We are committed to minimizing the risk of any exposure to the current COVID-19 outbreak. To that end we are implementing the following procedures:
  • Children should be accompanied by one parent and no siblings unless there is no other alternative. If this is not possible please inform us of your circumstance prior to your arrival.
  • Forms and other requests should be uploaded to the patient portal or mailed to our office.
  • No pharmaceutical or sales reps will be received while the illness burden is high.
  • Deliveries and specimen pickups will be through a separate entrance not used by patients.
  • Well Visits and Med Checks will only be scheduled for morning hours.
All non-essential walk-in traffic is prohibited without an appointment
